Dinosaur Books
Our dinosaur books are almost complete and will be coming home shortly. However, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at our "About the Author" pictures with our dinosaur hats on. Enjoy!
MAPS
We just finished our map unit on land and water forms, which included island, lake, valley, river, hill, mountain, plains and oceans. We applied what we have learned to create our own playdoh maps and tried to include as many land and water forms as we could while keeping our "destination" unique.
Cookie Excavating
Our class had an excavating party - with COOKIES! We looked for raisins, chocolate chips, and m&m's. We used very exact tools, just like real paleontologists, to carefully find each "fossil". We counted our fossils and graphed our totals - How FUN!

CAMPFIRE 2010
Wow, what a perfect morning for a campfire! We listened to amazing stories and funny jokes. We laughed so hard with our PreK buddies while we were making s'mores and drinking hot chocolate. As you can see from our pictures - we had such a wonderful morning.
